January 27th

well...

this is my first Sunday update of the year.

((with hopefully many more to come))

I still haven't exactly figured out what I am supposed to be updating you guys on in these posts.

but it's the thought that counts, right??

I'm still pretty new when it comes to blogging

...aka what to put in them...

but I figured it would be best to start out treating it like a journal

((without all the juicy stuff, of course)) :)

Today was pretty crazy:

this was the second week of me teaching the sunbeams by myself

without my Colin...

...and actually, it went pretty well.

I was actually able to teach a lesson today,

which was nice!

((the trick is to act really super excited about everything,

like totally over-the-top ridiculous))

Get's 'em every time. 

Anyway...

right after church we had a bunch of people come up to us and schedule different appointments for today, such as:

• Colin was going Home Teaching right after church at 1
• OUR home teachers were coming at around 4
• Brother McIntyre (sp?) also asked us if he could stop by

So basically... we were up and running/cleaning our house/magnifying our callings pretty much all day.

On the upside:

Colin was able to see all of his Home Teaching families today(which is a major success)

AND

our Home Teachers offered us some great advice for Colin on how to diagnose what's wrong with his car.

((it crapped out on us a few weeks ago... I REALLY hope it gets fixed soon))

AND

I received some very interesting news

So now it's 6:45 pm...

and we are finally done with the day's activities.

Now it's time to just sit around and be lazy...

this is what I look forward to seriously ALL week

...and crack open a can of the best beverage

in the world!
